Karen Perry

Karen is one of two Administrators for the Derbyshire North East Circuit, and works part-time two days a week. Karen balances this with her other role as a Children & Families Worker in the Peak Methodist Circuit.

Karen has worked for the church in paid and voluntary capacities for ~13 years, although her previous career was in science. After completing an undergraduate degree in Physiology, Karen studied for a Phd in Embryology. Her science career culminated in a Lectureship at University of Sheffield.

Karen has two teenage children and is married to Adrian. She enjoys dancing (tap, ballet & kitchen), gardening and photography, and is keen to take up cycling, at least when she has saved up for a new bike!
