New Places for New People (NPNP) are new Christian communities for those not yet part of an existing church. They may look quite different from established churches because they will always reflect the new people encountering the love of God.
The Methodist Church hopes to plant many NPNPs over the next five years. They are committing significant energy and resources so that over time every circuit will begin a pioneering or church planting community.
The Methodist Church encourages every circuit to imagine, begin and sustain something new. We also need those who are called and gifted to pioneer and plant them. Our Community Pioneer, Jonathan Hood, is current working to establish two NPNP projects within the Circuit in Barrow Hill and Rother Ward.
Within our Circuit we have also employed Tom Surgay, as Circuit Youth Pioneer. Tom works with both existing youth groups in our churches and along with Jonathan in pioneering and developing new work.
Contact information for Jonathan and Tom can be found here.
