A new series of online meditations is being offered by Reverend Tracey Harris, for Lent 2021 starting Tuesday 23rd February at 10am.
'Taketime' is a series of relaxing guided meditations based on the stories of Jesus and the tradition of St Ignatius that use your imagination to provide a calm, comfortable space in which to meet God ( www.taketime.org.uk ). Each session will include a guided meditation, time to socialise, and an opportunity to share insights together.

Starting Thursday 25th February at 2pm, a new group of characters associated with The Passion will be studied each week to help us consider discipleship and the challenges of following Jesus. The groups of characters will comprise: 'The Women', 'The Powerful', 'The Misguided', 'The Faithful' and 'The Secret Followers'. Each session will include time for study, discussion and prayer. All are welcome to join us.

An ecumenical course entitled 'Caring for Creation' is to take place on Zoom during Lent.
Christians Together for Chesterfield have for several years organised a Lent study course offered by York Courses. This year's topic is a timely examination of the environment and climate change within the overarching framework of the Bible, Christian theology and ethics. The course runs weekly for five weeks at various times on Tuesdays or Thursdays, starting on 23rd and 25th February.
Reverend Paul King, who is coordinating the course, will be pleased to hear from anyone interesting in joining a study group and will put enquirers in touch with a course leader. He may be contacted on 01246 270936.
