Bolsover Methodist Church Refurbishment Nears Completion
A significant project is about to be completed at Bolsover Methodist Church. For the last sixteen months this busy hub in the community has been closed for a range of improvements and alterations to make it fit for purpose, enabling the Church to pursue its mission more effectively into the future.
And now images of the newly refurbished building can be shared with church members and friends in the community. Although the developers have handed the premises back to the Church, there are still a few tasks to complete and, due to the pandemic, it may be some time before the building can properly reopen. Nevertheless, this first glimpse of the refurbished site on Hill Top has been eagerly awaited.
Reverend Sean Adair, minister at Bolsover said:"We look forward to the day when we can open the church once again for worship and service to the Bolsover community."Once again it will be a place for a cuppa to be shared with a friend. Once again it will be a place for burdens to be shared and supportive advice given. Once again it will be a place to celebrate new life, join people in marriage and bring our loved ones at the end of their lives. Once again, we will aspire to be a place of radical welcome and hospitality, a place of passionate worship, a place of intentional faith development, a place of risk-taking mission and service, and a place of extravagant generosity. We hope to welcome you in person soon."
